Three Rivers Performing Arts Institute operates almost entirely on volunteer help. Our generous volunteers serve a variety of functions from concert usher to the keeper of the archives.
At this time, Three Rivers Performing Arts Institute has openings for the following volunteer positions for the remainder of the Winter Concert Series:
Usher
Ushers are needed on February 11, March 17, and April 21, 2012. Ushers should be able to arrive at the church by 6:15 pm. Ushers are responsible for a variety of jobs including folding and handing out programs, operating the lights and assisting people to their seats. Formal dress is not required, but a neat and tidy appearance is requested.
Artist Coordinator
The function of the artist coordinator is to assist with the needs of our visiting musicians. Artist Coordinators provide food and drink during afternoon rehearsal and also before and after the evening concert. In addition, an artist coordinator purchases flowers to give to the musicians after their performance, and may help sell CD's if they are available. Some transportation may be required.
Artist coordinators are needed on March 17 and April 21, 2012.
Concert Set-up
On the day prior to each concert, we have the need for 5-6 strong people to help set up the church for the performance. This requires helping to move the grand piano. The set-up times/dates will be announced closer to concert time. The estimated set-up dates are March 16 and April 20, 2012. Set-up generally occurs in the late morning.
